Your photo made me think of an old movie that I loved called “The Englishman Who Went up a Hill but came down a Mountain”. I enjoyed that movie very much and even bought the soundtrack.

I think you’ve proven once again that a trek to the summit of the Great Orme is worth whatever the cost! I remember that panoramic view – fantastic!

All your treks have returned such amazing views! I love this lonely but picturesque pile, makes me want to peek just beyond:)

The cairn in itself would be rewarding but when you add the view, wow!

Please place a stone for me on this neat little pile. My ‘scrambling’ days are growing fewer so I rely on you to bring in the views and risk the drops!

It’s nice to have a good reward at the top!

Think of how many rocks needed to be moved to make the cairn. It’s quite attractive so worth the effort.
