On the lookout

Bird-of-prey-Llandudno

I quite often spot this kestrel, (assuming it’s the same one, and it is actually a kestrel!) in pretty much the same place on my morning walks around the Great Orme.

Here’s a closer shot posted on Llandudno Daily Pictures back in February 2013.

  1. I can only imagine what it is like to soar over the water. How invigorating that must be. Great photo!

  2. Beautiful bird.great hunters.. got loads round my way. 🙂

  3. Born free…..

  4. The seagulls had better watch out!

  5. You are funny. I went back to look at the previous photo. Don’t think I found the kestrel the first time! Love this beautiful photo, though!

  6. They must like to stay within their own area.

  7. I’m incapable of recognising birds of prey. But I love watching them. And usually get mad because I’m not quick enough to photograph them.

  8. We are all creatures of habit!

  9. You’re not going to believe this!
I saw two barn owls this weekend.
    Two on the same day!
Also saw some red kites, lots of pheasants in the country.
