Conwy Half Marathon 2014

Conwy-Half-Marathon-2014

This year’s Conwy Half Marathon took place yesterday, here are just a few of the runners emerging onto the West Shore after running around the Great Orme.

The Conwy Half Marathon was voted in the top five most scenic Half Marathons in the UK by readers of Runners World magazine.

  1. It looks as if it was a dry day for them. Not so good going up to the Rest & Be Thankful, but at least it’s downhill from there.

  2. They were right about the views on the orme.. they must have felt hard done bye not being able to stop and have a lovely hot bevvy at the rest and be thankful cafe.. 😦

  3. Looks a good cool day for a run and what a view to keep them going. As I am not running this year will join you up in the cafe Terry!

  4. Definitely a scenic place to run!

  5. I wonder if those runners enjoy the scenery!

  6. What a great place to run. My wife is a runner and has won numerous trophies. She’s done two marathons (New York & Disney). I don’t understand runners! πŸ™‚

  7. As long as they don’t have to run up the Orme, Geoff!

  8. I dislike running so I’d just walk. I’d have a camera of course so it’d take me absolute ages!!!
