That’s the way to do it!

Punch-and-Judy-Llandudno

Founded by Richard Codman in 1860, the Punch & Judy show is still going strong on Llandudno Promenade.

Here’s a glimpse of yesterday afternoon’s show, more information can be found here.

  1. I loved listening to these punch and judy shows from the place i normally stop at in llandudno. The sound of the waves of the sea and the rasp of punch and judys voice . U know then your at the seaside..i love it!!!.

    • Jason, the bloke who does the shows, now has a Punch & Judy ‘museum’, situated just behind the booth. You can now buy your very own official Punch & Judy souvenir!

  2. You should come to see the May Fayre in St Paul’s Churchyard (Covent Garden). It’s probably the best Punch and Judy gathering in England?!

  7. How fun! About a year ago on a trip to Chicago, I saw a Punch & Judy show on a neighborhood street. That was the first time I’d see one in many years. I’m glad to see it’s still going on in your area.

  8. I don’t think I’ve ever seen one in real life!

  9. I think I’d have enjoyed it and shouted as much as the kids!
