Taking shelter

Some of these goats appear to be taking shelter under this rocky overhang, seen close to the Rest And Be Thankful cafe.

  1. They’ll have a good view from there.

  2. I find the fact that you have wild goats really fascinating. They always seem to make a good subject for photos. 🙂

  3. Dont blame them takin shelter with this weather were having, its a fascinating rock face, is it me or can some sort of face shapes be made out of the rocks!!!.

  4. They must have seen those clouds you posted yesterday.

  5. Does local council actually “manage” these feral goats?
I mean goat’s cheese, milk, wool, meat etc can generate extra “income” for them. How come the money is not enough ? I don’t see Council Tax going down 😦

  6. Come on kids, rest and be thankful. It’s only old Geoff and his camera and he’s harmless enough!

  7. Looks like a day of rest for them!

  8. Love the young ones nosing about!

  9. It’s always good to have a place to go
Especially when the sky turns black
    And the cold winds blow.
And if perchance these come your way
Hie thyself to the Be Thankful Cafe.

Or get under a rock if you’re a goat!

  10. Am I the only one seeing faces above them, in the cliff??

    • There’s certainly a mouth and two eyes. Looks quite kindly.

  11. I’m always charmed by your goats.

  12. I’d enjoy stopping by the cafe just so I can catch a glimpse of these goats. Loving the incredible rock face too.
