Headlights in the rain

Llandudno-North-Wales

A damp, grey scene yesterday afternoon at Hooson’s Corner.

The Palladium pub can be seen just to the right of centre. The building was once a cinema; read more about it here.

  1. It was rather sunny in London yesterday! 😉 He he

  2. I think this was the cinema i went with my mum and dad in the early 60s to watch “born free”..looks like a horrible day you had yesterday. We had a mini tornado and a heavy fall of sleet where we live on saturday. Its a weird winter!!!!!.

  3. That does look like a typical winter day!

  4. Oh, this reminds me of my younger years when I suffered through Minnesota winters – the overwhelming grayness! I like the touches of color, though. Warms the scene a little bit.

  5. The architecture is lovely. I’m sure it must be fun to stroll around the city center here.

  6. I think I’d enjoy walking about these streets taking photos of these wonderful old buildings.

  7. There are some lovely old buildings in Llandudno, and Geoff photographs them beautifully.

  8. Cinemas tend to disappear, don’t they? As do pubs. It’s been awfully grey and rainy here too.

  9. A day to hurry in from the cold. The amber shop lights send out a welcome.

  10. Yuck, what a day!
