A walk around the Great Orme #10

Picture of the Great Orme Llandudno

We’re taking a break for a while, so we thought we would take you on a walk all the way around the Great Orme until we’re back. There will also be a few interesting facts mentioned on our walk, which we have compiled from various sources. Apologies in advance if any aren’t 100% accurate!

This is the start of the climb up towards and past the lighthouse, we’re now approaching the half way point of our walk.

  1. Wait a minute! Does that sign in the road mean drivers coming down must stop and turn around? I’m confused! 🙂 Oh stop it, I’m not always confused!

    • No, it has been put there at great expense so that anyone driving out of the gate on the right will know which way NOT to go. Average number of cars coming out–at a guess half a dozen each year

  2. I’ve walked a long way and I’m not tired yet. Let’s keep going.

  3. Yes,I’m all for keeping going. Will be downhill soon!

  4. Now the hard part begins!

  5. Phew, really builds up stamina doing this on a daily basis! I like the idea of going downhill here 🙂

  6. I’m enjoying this!
