A walk around the Great Orme #8

Picture of the Great Orme Llandudno

We’re taking a break for a while, so we thought we would take you on a walk all the way around the Great Orme until we’re back. There will also be a few interesting facts mentioned on our walk, which we have compiled from various sources. Apologies in advance if any aren’t 100% accurate!

Continuing on past the junction you can see another limestone shelf, down to the right, this is where lots of birds tend to congregate. Don’t ask why, I’ve no idea… perhaps they just enjoy the view?!

  1. Still going strong. Have got into the rhythm of the walk. Sorry I have no binoculars for sea-bird spotting. That shelf does look like a friendly meeting place for many different birds.

  2. We have lots of limestone here in Central Florida and a lot of birds. But we have no Great Orme or sea…so you win. I’ll just have to come visit you guys!

  3. I can see why they would!

  4. What a beautiful walk!

  5. I don’t blame them – a grand view, some social bird time…it’s all good!:)
