  1. Count me in for this. It’s a great way to explore the hidden side of the Orme.

  2. Love this. That boat shows the spectacular size of the Great Orme!

  3. It looks so tiny out there by itself.

  4. This really shows the scale of the Orme.

  5. Cool veiw especially the marine drive winding round the orme..”thank you llandudno for a great sunny holiday”.

  6. Great shot, thank you.

  7. Reblogged this on this 'n that.

  8. In the dim, distant past, I seem to remember walking down the pier to the end and, on what seemed to me was a bit of a unsafe gangway to get on a ship. I was a young boy at the time mind you, so my memories of the event may be slightly off! However, we sailed through the Menai Straight I, once again, seem to remember. Could that have happened? Ships whent to the Isle of Man I know but, the Menai? Or, has it all been a dream? PS. I was only about 6 or 7, something like that age.

    • They did indeed used to sail to Menai Bridge… and Puffin Island and Red Wharf Bay!

      • I’m relieved my mind isn’t that addled and, thank you so much for proving it! Not being addled, that is!

  9. A boat ride like that would be a wonderful way to spend a summer afternoon!
