Picture of shop on Llandudno Pier

A view of our shop on the Pier, taken yesterday afternoon.

Apparently this Spring is set to be the coldest in the UK for 50 years, can’t say I’m surprised at that particular piece of news!

  1. Come in. Come in! I know it’s warm and cosy inside and filled with interesting things in all price ranges.

    • Looking at the clouds and, general gloom, it seems as though it’s a dire day!

  2. I love your shop! I know I’ve seen it before but so nice to see it up close and personal again. Sorry about the cold weather. It’s about 90 degrees here during the day now – wish I could send you some of that!

Re your comment on L&L – in fact, a number of Tarzan movies were filmed here on the Silver River; also other movies, such as “Creature from the Black Lagoon.” Also TV shows – “Sea Hunt,” starring Lloyd Bridges and many episodes of “I Spy.” πŸ™‚

  3. I half expected to see a patch of icy snow by the door! Looks so cold… 88 F (31 C) here in Ohio… I’d gladly take some of your cold!

  4. it looks like a cold day! hope it warms up soon for you so you can enjoy summer!

  5. A couple of hours after this picture was taken the clouds cleared and the day ended with brilliant blue skies!

  6. warm and sunny now!

  7. I love the way you framed this, but eek about the cold! It’s nice you’re getting a bit of sun now – wish I could send some of our suddenly-too-hot summer your way!

  8. Nice to get such a good view of the shop! It is 30˚C here again today. My friend who lives in Cromer has been complaining about the cold every time we talk to him – it has to warm up soon.

  9. How wonderfully inviting!
    Same here… πŸ™‚

  10. It looks so wonderful and welcoming. And you certainly couldn’t ask for a more beautiful location, no matter what the weather!
