Crash and splash!

Spray on the North Shore Llandudno

A good way to get soaked, without actually going into the sea, is to stand by the sea wall at the foot of the Happy Valley at high tide on a windy day.

This picture was taken almost directly below the cable car station that can be seen in yesterday’s post; the Great Orme stands in the background.

  1. And all I ask is a windy day with the white clouds flying,
And the flung spray and the blown spume, and the sea-gulls crying.

  3. Wow – such a powerful sea!

  4. Perfect bit of spray! And perhaps the best way to get soaked – though I agree with others it looks a powerful sea that day!

  5. I love this shot! How did you manage to keep your camera dry?

    • I didn’t!

      • I’m glad it survived!
