  1. A good shot of the chaos before the opening lets hope it is well supported this year, perhaps it ought to be sited on the promenade to save closing roads off?

    • I think any four day event in the town centre is bound to cause some disruption to traffic, and the promenade is potentially far more exposed to adverse weather than a location in the middle of town, especially in November!

  2. A plethora of white vans! Enjoy your Christmas Fayre.

  3. A Christmas fair already? People in your town are as nuts as people here! 🙂 Well, actually, this is a good time to buy presents and why not buy them at a Christmas fair? I hope you’ll be showing us more of this fair…

  4. Never too early to start your Christmas shopping, I guess. :))

  5. I hope that it is better than the one we have here in Leeds, I noticed ours was up and running a few days back. I cannot see why city officials believe that having a Christmas Fayre with traders from far away brings any real benefit to a town or city.

  6. How fun! People in the U.S. complain that stores started selling Christmas items before Halloween.

  7. So does that run until Christmas? And is it outside?

    • It lasts for four days, Thursday until Sunday and is held in two marquees and numerous log cabins on a street in the town centre.

  8. I hope everyone has a good time.
