One of Britain’s breathing spaces

Snowdonia National Park

Snowdon (Yr Wyddfa) the highest mountain in Wales and the highest point in the British Isles, outside of Scotland, stands centre of shot.

Unfortunately, as is quite often the case, it’s totally obscured by cloud!

  1. Clouds or no, this is a beautiful panoramic shot. I like mountains. Sort of. Don’t like heights, though. Our daughter lives at 9,000 feet on a mountain in Colorado. Terrible drive to get up to her place. And no rail(s) on the side of the road. Yikes!

  2. A rough landscape!

  3. I too like mountains, but have not been to Snowdon in many years. Scotland tended to be my place for the big outdoors, though these days its mostly the Yorkshire Moors, not quite the same I know but they can be pretty bleak.
