Dydd Gŵyl Dewi Hapus! Happy St David’s Day!

Daffodils Haulfre Gardens Llandudno

Taken at around 11am this morning in the Haulfre Gardens.

Today is the feast day of Saint David (Dewi Sant), the patron saint of Wales, which falls on March 1st each year.

The first day of March was chosen in remembrance of the death of Saint David. Tradition holds that he died on that day in 589.
